Soccer Commissioner: John Rithman Next Monthly Meeting – Wednesday, February 6, 2008 – 7:00PM in the Fieldhouse. To Contact the Fieldhouse for any Soccer issues, Call 410-859-5550 – Mailbox #2 * Following are Soccer Travel/Select/County Team “Tryout” Dates/Times. Interested players MUST attend at least one Travel/Select/County Team “Tryout” to be eligible. There will be NO exceptions to this LFYAA Bylaw requirement. Also, there seems to be some confusion about how “Tryouts” are to be held. All Travel/Select/County Team Managers MUST have at least two (2) different “Tryouts”, which are scheduled and announced at least two (2) weeks in advance. There must be at least one (1) week between “Tryout” dates and the “Tryouts” must be on different days of the week. Age Group Date/Time Location Manager Boys U-10 Sun. Jan 20 @ 9:00AM BWI Fields John Coppola (*New Team) Boys U-10 Sat. Feb 2 @ 9:00AM BWI Fields John Coppola (*New Team) * The Boys U-10 County Team will be a New LFYAA Soccer Team this Spring. Tryouts are announced above. This U-10 team will be coached by John Coppola. John is currently the Boys JV Soccer Coach at Archbishop Spalding High School. The U-10 team will be assisted by Todd Carrick, John’s assistant JV coach. John and Todd are both E License Certified coaches with the MSYSA/USSF and are certified “Double Goal” Coaches through the Positive Coaching Alliance.
